Pearl Mogg and Clover Clogg are asking a little favour they wanted to ask if you have enjoyed any bits of our blog and if its given you even the littlest of warm feelings would you be so kind to pop over to our face book and say hi or even a like. The girls would be so grateful as battling with technology and final catching up. thanks from clover and Pearl
and to say thank you the 100 follower here will be getting a treat.
To the lovely people out there who have asked me many times to share how I make my nests. So for you, every Wednesday in June and July from 3-4.30pm at Mill street crafts Sidmouth I will. It includes all your materials. which I have some lovely bits for us to play with. It is helpful if you can do basic crocheting. But fear not the class before from 2-3pm -which is only £5 is beginners crochet and that would be enough skills to get you making nests straight after.
Our May Angel. We have spaces for making these this Wednesday and again on Wednesday18th of June and Wednesday July 16th. from 10.30-1.00 with homemade cake £22. I hope you all got to see the bluebells before they go over.
Trying to keep workshops seasonal. A little taster of things to come. I have used the lovely Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady as a back drop for many photos.
Spring nest workshop one I made earlier
To early to mention my favourite season, but its the book I want to show you anyone read 'The Country Bizarre 'by Andy Pittaway and Bernard Scofield?
It was a series of magazines that were originally published between 1970-74. using an underground press. It appeared seasonally in 11 issues with a patchwork of country matters. It really is a medley of nature, ecology, craftwork, folklore and poetry. I found mine on eBay quite cheap. I LOVE IT .
