This is one of Pearl's elderly friends, Red Rowena, the book she is mounted on is 'An Episode of Sparrows' by Rumer Godden. She is made from wire and muslin and stands just 16cm high in her stockinged feet. she is quite shy and tends to fill her basket with silly things.
